Enhance the Quality of Your Listings

Last update: October 3, 2023

Quality Photos Guide – Hard Enforcement Effective 2 May 2019 #

As of 2 May 2019, the Quality Photos Guide Hard Enforcement is fully in effect. This means that any listing photos that do not meet our quality standards will no longer be visible to property seekers on PropertyGuru.

What Does This Mean for You? #

  • Your listing itself will still be published and visible on the site.

  • However, any photos that fail to meet the requirements of the Quality Photos Guide will:

    • Be removed from public view (i.e., not visible to property seekers).

    • Still be visible to you within your AgentNet account for review and action.

How to Check & Appeal Suspended Photos #

If a photo has been suspended, here’s what you can do:

  1. Go to your listing on AgentNet.

  2. Find the suspended photo(s) marked with an alert or suspension reason.

  3. Click the three dots (•••) in the top-right corner of the photo.

  4. Select “Request Review” if you believe the photo complies with our guidelines.

Our team will re-evaluate your appeal and update the photo status accordingly.

Tip: Ensure your images are clear, properly lit, free of overlays/text/logos, and relevant to the property to avoid suspension.

Why It Matters: Impact on Listing Quality Score #

Listings with fewer than 3 quality photos will be penalised in your Listing Quality Score, which affects how high your listing appears in property seekers’ search results.

The more high-quality photos your listing has, the better its visibility and performance.
